At WATT100, we respect your privacy and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains how to exercise those rights and what to expect from us.
Your Rights
You may submit a request regarding any of the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, including what it is, why we hold it, and who we share it with.
- Rectification — request correction of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data where there is no longer a legitimate reason for us to retain it. Note that some data may be retained where required by law (e.g. accounting and tax obligations).
- Restriction — request that we temporarily pause processing of your data, for example while a correction or objection is being assessed.
- Portability — request a copy of data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your rights.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time where our processing is based on consent (e.g. marketing communications or non-essential cookies). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
How to Submit a Request
Please send your request to:
Include the following in your email:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your order or account
- A clear description of your request and which right you wish to exercise
For security purposes, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity before processing your request. This is to protect you and ensure we do not disclose data to the wrong person.
Response Time & Costs
We will respond to your request within 30 days of receipt. For complex or multiple requests, this may be extended by up to a further two months, in which case we will notify you within the initial 30-day period and explain the reason for the delay.
Exercising your rights is free of charge. However, for requests that are manifestly unfounded or excessive, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee or refuse to act, in accordance with Article 12 of the GDPR.
Right to Complain
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your request or your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Authority:
